A few times I've brought up a
television show called Battlestar Galactica. Most here in the
call center aren't into sci-fi.
It has to be one of the best shows
ever. It touches every aspect of human relations, and in
science fiction. I've been a sci-fi fan forever. This is the
opening of the show, you should check it out if you've never
seen it.
The show changed a lot from the
original series in like 78 or 77 I think. The bad guys look
human now, not like the tin cans with a red eye. Even
the fighter planes are now 'alive' as in a Cylon creature,
with living parts. Starbuck flew one with the guts all over
the place. Starbuck, not even a guy any more. He was a cool
character in the original series.
The new one is decent though. She's
growing on me. The character development is also superior to
the original series. Then again the original was made for
another time, with different values, and a totally different
society.
My
Favorite Cylon
You have to love how they've evolved.
The sex scenes have been decent for a TV show, even though on
cable.
I can't think of what would be better,
this cylon or the holodeck on Star Trek. Forget that,
the holodeck you can do anything and have anyone and see
anything and experience all. That or this woman as hot as she
is, there is still not competition. The holodeck wins hands
down.
Earth
It would be really great if they find
earth this season, as they said they will. This will almost
100% take place in the final episode, as we see Earth for 2
seconds, then you see the screen say continued.
A great idea would be for them to find
Earth in the Star Trek time, with Capt. Picard and the
Enterprise. Tell me the Star Trek people wouldn't go for it.
They could start up a whole new season of any franchise of the
Star Trek Universe. Battlestar would also get a larger
audience and a new slightly racier Star Trek series can be
launched.
Who wouldn't go for that scenario? I
know - everyone who doesn't like sci-fi. Probably most people
but who cares. I like it.
