AAA ( Triple A)
Term used in our call centers to
describe a situation where a computer is doing a call
run. This means that a computer dialer is calling
accounts one after the other, and registering on all
reps in succession. Example is 718-555-0100, then
718-555-0101, then 02 and so on. The term was
first coined years ago in our first call center in
Howard Beach, when reps on the very first team would
yell out A, then another A then yet another A (hence
AAA) when getting the same machine calling over and over
on different accounts.
