The SATELLITE 2007 Conference
will focus on how satellite technology will play a pivotal
role in the development of integrated solutions for global
communications. The program consists of a Pre-Conference on
Monday, February 19 and Conference sessions on
Tuesday-Thursday, February 20-22. There are general sessions
suitable for anyone who works with satellite-enabled
communications as well as specialized tracks that focus on
military, first response, enterprise, broadcast and commercial
satellite applications.
Provision of Private Network
in Pakistan

PolarSat is proud to announce the supply of a
VSAT network to Supernet for a private network application
within
Pakistan. The
network will include voice and data communication using
PolarSat advanced VSAT Technology.
The network
consists of 1 main station which will perform the functions of
Network Management, and traffic concentration for the data
signals, and 25 remote nodes, which provides a highly flexible
platform, combining voice, fax, data and videoconferencing
capabilities.
PolarSat VSATPlus II product was selected as it
provides a full mesh, hub less network with no single point of
failure and offers the greatest ease of network configuration
and expansion. It supports the most demanding network
applications including high quality voice, low and high-speed
data, video conferencing and fax - all in a single low-cost,
integrated platform. Combined with the unique direct E1
telephony and Frame Relay interface, the VSATPlus II
satellite communications terminal offers multi service
capability, using Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) with
Frequency Hopping (FHOP).

robust scheme allowing multiple NMS platforms to remain
synchronized to each other which are particularly well suited

C7 full mesh trunking. Customer switches are C7 and the
PolarSat solution allowed for an efficient and powerful
full-mesh DAMA solution, which is possible due to the powerful
features on the E1 Card
