The dream of global, real-time television broadcasting over the Internet is now being realized. The development and implementation of the technology to broadcast live TV over
the Internet is available for immediate implementation.
    The President of Media Netcast Corporation, Fred Pritikin, states, "We

    It is the intent of Media Netcast Corporation to provide software to be
downloaded on to the PC being used as the "player" at no cost to the
viewers. Content providers are asked to provide two advertising minutes per
hour of broadcasting time in lieu of monetary charges. The Media Netcast
Corporation advertising is subject to approval by the content provider.
    The requirements for receiving the Internet broadcast include a high
speed Internet connection with a 300kb upload capability and a Windows PC.
Media Netcast broadcasts have been enjoyed in Europe, Asia and, of course,
the USA.
    The requirements for broadcasting utilizing the Media Netcast
Corporation technology is, again, a high speed Internet connection, a
server (Windows PC) and a digital video/ audio pickup device. A recent live
broadcast was accomplished during a gymnastics exhibition at Stanford
University using the Stanford University Network connected by 100 feet of
cable to an IBM ThinkPad(R). The input to the ThinkPad(R) came through the
Firewire (1394) port from a digital TV camera. The broadcast lasted for
over two hours and remained stable over a wide variation in the number of
players signing on and off.
