IBM to Open A Call Center in Indiana

Our sources indicate that IBM intends to open up a 500 plus seat call center, tentatively to be located in Indiana. The newest facility for IBM is supposed to assist IBM's existing client base as well as assist in the acquisition of new business service clients.

Burlington Motor Carriers facility located on Interstate 69 is said to be the chosen location.  IBM is putting millions into the project as they have the contract with the state government to modernize and enhance the state's welfare system.

Initially there will be 200 employees at this location, but it is being planned on growing to over 500 within 3 years.  Incentives were provided to IBM by the town and state governments to set up shop there.
