Our
debates here at The Successful Office Group get extremely lively.
Our latest was on global warming. Management feels that the better
educated we all are on various issues, the better we are to
represent our company and our clients.
Our debate this week has prompted a press
release on global warming as we've actually turned a major client
away for 'fraud'. The company can't release what the name of
the major environmental group is for legal reasons, but they were
really upset at the company's decision. I think the press
release is going out tomorrow or by Friday and is bound to stir up
some controversy on the matter.
Basically here at our company we truly
represent ourselves as the client. In fact we tell all clients that
no one will ever know that they are calling an answering service or
call center. To accomplish this we actually learn all about
the company, the products, and their history. We even
role-play with the client so that they know that their calls are
being handled exactly as they want them to be handled.
So here comes a big environmental group asking
us to handle incoming calls for donations to fight global warming.
We do our research on the topic and find something very interesting.
The I.P.C.C.
(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) has some mysterious
workings going on. How it works or was supposed to work was
scientists from around the world familiar with climate change and
weather were supposed to discuss, discover and come up with theories
on if we are experiencing global warming AND if mankind is causing
it.
Unfortunately things didn't turn out they way
they were supposed to. The scientists, like Professor Richard Linzen
of M.I.T. who was on the original I.P.C.C. panel of scientists and
pointed to often by the I.P.C.C. as evidence of having the smartest
minds concerning the climate. The thing is the
scientists stated that more research is needed to in fact even
decide if global warming is taking place and more importantly if man
were the cause.
The pinheads in the UN then discounted what
their own scientists said and wrote their own report making
ridiculous claims. Many of the scientists like Linzen protested but
the snow ball was now thrown down the mountain, only to gather
strength day after day and week after week.
Today in 2007 most of the media now states
incorrectly that their is some sort of scientific consensus that man
causes global warming, and guess what? - They all point to the IPCC
as evidence - even the latest alarmist articles in TIME and Newsweek
and all over the NY Times.
Does anyone smell a rat or what? What is most
scary is actual government policy is now being decided on the
flimsiest of theories that the very best climatologists laugh at.
How did we get here in this crazy unscientific
place? Propaganda is all it is and the people behind it all
are almost exclusively on the left. If you want to real all
