Holidays, Past, Present, and Future

As Holidays go, I would say 2006 ranks number one, on MY list of the top ten best holidays of the year.

I have never felt such family unity, love, caring, and genuine, thoughtful gift giving, as I did this year. These feelings filled the air along with the tremendous scents of the season. Two years ago, when our family lost a loved one, 2005 was number one on my list of the worst holiday seasons of my life. There were others. We all have had those . . . but life moves on.

All of us have a purpose, whether it is making cars, being and astronaut, or waiting on tables at a local restaurant. Some achieve the peak of their lives' goals sooner than others. Events in our lives, our personal talents and mental makeup, (some yet to be discovered), are the catalysts that shape our future.

Let's face it, not all of us can be movie stars, world leaders, or Internet Gurus. Most of us lack the skills, education, or self discipline to achieve our impossible dreams. Some of us will . . . achieve the "impossible dream", 95% will NOT. At Least that is what most analyst say about a start up work at home business.

We started our work at home business over three years ago. We had NO KNOWLEDGE, of what the heck we were doing. We wondered the Internet, aimlessly, very gullible, believing all the spam and scams we were subjected to daily. The result was, lost time, confusion, and . . . LOST WEALTH.

The Internet can be brutal.

But, our knowledge improved, as a result of effort on our part, (we read many quality newsletters and ebooks), and things started happening. We learned how to capture leads, and build traffic. We learned how to design spam free email. And . . . the hardest task, how to develop SEO startegies to optimize our websites.

Once these concepts are learned and practised, sales start, income grows, and success is staring you right in the face. You are now part of the Internet elite, the 5% survivors.

DO NOT be a failure. Watch for these warning signs:

1. You will not make money with out investing. (Time or Money). Have you ever heard the term, used by Wall Street analyst, called Return on EQUITY? Or Return on Investment (ROI). I am positive you have NOT heard return on NOTHING as a measurement of success.

2. Never count earnings until they are in YOUR BANK!

3. NEVER do business in an unregulated environment like an offshore business. Granted the Internet has a long way to go to produce better regulation, but at least their is some regulation. i.e. the CAN SPAM ACT of 2004.

4. The opportunity is not even ranked on Google. Not only is our site indexed, OUR SITE is Optimized with a Google Rank of 3/10 and climbing rapidly. We also have a TRUST RANK OF 6/10, thanks to Ranking.com. There are many more caution flags, but this is not what our Holiday thoughts to you are about.
